Navy and blue ‘SDU ALVEOMESH’ sneakers from Veja. Crafted from Alveomesh, a durable material derived in 100% from recycled bottles. Trimmed with vegan suede, this lace-up pair features an embossed logo, the label’s signature grey logo patch produced from rubber and rice waste as well as a black rubber sole. The organic-sourced and recycled insole consists of wild rubber, sugar cane, Amazon, organic cotton and recycled EVA. The midsole is crafted from sugar cane (53%), while the glued outsole – from Amazon rubber (12%) and rice waste (30%) with a perforated surface for increased traction and cushioning. It is set on a beige and white rubber sole made from organic and recycled materials. The flexible mesh lining crafted from 100% recycled plastic bottles is developed to acquire a better resistance to friction and ensure comfort with every step.
