A reinforced toe cap protects against rock strikes and a fiberglass-reinforced EVA midsole absorbs impacts provides stiffness for power transfer and combines with Shimano's TORBAL 2. 0 torsional midsole for excellent edge flexibility when cornering. A lace and hook-and-loop strap closure system makes for a secure closure and Shimano's Ultread GE rubber compound provides exceptional grip when connected to the pedals or hiking our bike.
