Tschabalala Self is a Harlem-born artist whose cross-disciplinary work explores ideas about the body, traversing different artistic and craft traditions. In designing this piece, she wanted to push the boundaries of what can be considered an UGG boot – feminizing our Classic design with a stacked heel that physically elevates the wearer and echoes the figures in her paintings who often wear heels. Extending her signature patterns to a unique boot made from premium suede and curly sheepskin for textural contrast, it’s a celebration of all things femme that offers the unparalleled feeling of UGG.
